White paint will reflect light, making your room feel brighter and more open. It is also a safe paint color if you're selling your home, as it will give prospective buyers a "clean slate" for decorating!

Yellow also reflects light and can have the same space-enhancing effect as white paint. Just make sure you your choice of yellow paint isn't too bright!

Gray is a perfect alternative to white paint. Look for a gentle, calming shade that reminds you of soft summer clouds. Gray paint bounces light around the room to expand the space, without the glare that may appear with white paint.

Deep Jewel Toned walls don’t have to feel confining.
